When we began work with TL in 2021, it became clear that they had done an excellent job building a customer database over the 5+ years of their history. However, most of their marketing communication from email was sent to their entire list of customers and subscribers, resulting in issues with deliverability: low open/click rates, high unsubscribe rates, and hitting the spam folder. After an in-depth audit, we built a segmentation strategy to regain healthy deliverability status—then focused on taking their email strategy from one-to-many to one-to-one. This resulted in more revenue coming from flows and automation while campaigns were more targeted to folks actually interested in the products and offers being promoted.
